And that is to tell stories.

That is why I opened this page.

I had a blog which has the same name years back. I closed it in an attempt to become a successful book blogger. I realized back then, in order to become someone in the digital space, you have to find your niche. I would like to believe that I achieved a lot as a book blogger, I've met a lot of bookworms in the process as well, but since I haven't touched my book blog in years, I realized that my days as a book blogger has already ended. 

I already am at the point in my life as a blogger that I just want to share stories about my life without thinking about blog statistics.

I believe, that I already have enough confidence to share what I know and not just talk about my opinion about a certain author or a particular book.

Truth be told, this blog is a dream. 

If I'll really be honest...

I never even imagined that I'll muster enough courage to blog as All Around News Girl again. I mean, who was I kidding back then? How can a n00b like me be an all around news person? But, I'd like to believe that I am now. I hope my nearly a decade experience will be enough.

I just knew I had to open this blog when I finally admitted a personal truth: I quit law school because I wanted to become a better journalist.

So, I wish you join me in this journey of loving not just journalism, books, or movies, but more importantly, learning how to tell better stories.
